    Frequestly Asked Questions

    What is the first thing I do?
    First is to take a deep breath. We know this can be stressful, and we are here to support you and your child to have a positive contact. Next, you can fill out the booking tab on the ‘Home’ page or email ffccs@familyfirstchildservices.com.au to schedule an intake.
    How long is the waitlist?
    We currently don’t have a waitlist!!
    Can I have visits on the weekend?
    Family First Child Contact Services is open 7 days a week.
    What facilities are available at the Mandurah Centre?
    Mandurah Centre is a cosy space with a large backyard, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and two televisions connected to YouTube and Netflix. It also features art supplies and five indoor areas equipped with toys, accommodating all age groups.
    What facilities are available at the Marangaroo Centre?
    Marangaroo Centre is right across the road from a park. You can freely use the kitchen area, two rooms with child-appropriate toys.
    Are your supervisors qualified?
    Family First Child Contact Services has a very diverse team, but what is consistent for everyone?

    – Minimal Cert 4 in Community Services, or higher,
    – A valid Working with Children’s Check,
    – Police clearance,
    – Car-Restraint Certificate,
    – Trauma Informed Certificate,
    – First Aid Certificate.

    Upon this extensive list of must-haves, each member of our team strives to upskill in many areas that remain beneficial for our clients.

    What are our fees?

    What do I need to bring to an intake?
    Please bring copies of Identification, Family Court Orders (handwritten or sealed) and a Medicare card.
